a month long to-do list that hopefully leads to a healthier lifestyle

I have been over-consumed by work lately along with juggling financial hardship with my oh so wonderful car and life duties. Though we may already be two days into the month, it is never too late to make a to do list of things to work on that will aid our mental health with seasonal depression around the corner.

[ ] pray morning AND night (bible verses, daily Bible app)

[ ] exercise at least once a week (gym, walk, 15–20 min home workout)

[ ] stay away from sugar (limit candy, soda, sweets)

[ ] drink more water (let’s aim for a gallon — do your best)

[ ] take my vitamins as many times as I can remember (fish oil, calcium, multivitamins & more)

[ ] cook more than ordering out (you have plenty of tuna in your cabinets)

[ ] read 3 books this month (hard covers)

[ ] journal once a week for 30 minutes (set a timer)

[ ] complain less (embrace life)

[ ] donate clothes that haven’t been worn in more than a year (don’t lie to yourself either)

I’m not going to lie… after writing this it just made me exhausted while eating a snickers bar. I know I am 100% capable of completing these tasks, I just don’t know how long I can keep the consistency going. This post holds me accountable as well as allowing anyone else to join me in a start of new habits that could turn into a lifestyle. You can comment your version of your list if this one doesn’t fit your way of living. I look forward to reading some goals in the comments! WHEN I succeed with this plan for November, I think it’s best I treat myself to an iPad… tehehe.
